Last week Mr. Steven, Mrs Goris & Miss Caro rewarded our Youth Leaders w/ a bowling trip to Lucky Strike for getting over 80% of the senior class to complete a CUNY application by November 15th.

Randolph had to go back in time to give others a chance to catch up! Shout out to our amazing seniors and staff who participated for spirit week Jan. 31, 2025

West Harlem Development Corporation funded a "Let's Talk Series" (a series of 4) to address the national crisis of increased mental health conditions worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to increase mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help for mental health issues among young adults in West Harlem and beyond.

A. Philip Randolph Campus High-School / Good Shepherd Services: Student Success Center took some students from the senior class on a trip to Mercy University. We visited both the Dobbs Ferry & Manhattan campuses.
Students got to see Mercy's beautiful Dobbs Ferry 100-acre campus & learned about their many undergraduate majors & programs that included Registered Nursing, Psychology, Early Childhood & Teaching, Biology, Business Admin, Criminal Justice & Social Science to name a few. Students and staff also learned about Mercy's various clubs / organizations, division two sports programs & visited their residential communities on both campuses. Students also got to enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Mercy University at their Hudson View Cafe overlooking the Hudson River.
We also caught up with some APR alums who currently attend Mercy University.

Before this Thanksgiving break, we were able to welcome back some of our cougars and get to know more about their post-high school journeys.

A. Philip Randolph Campus High-School / Good Shepherd Services: Student Success Center conducted a trip to Binghamton University for the senior class.

Students got to see Binghamton's beautiful 930-acre campus & learned about their 130 plus undergraduate majors & programs. Students and staff also learned about Binghamton's various clubs / organizations, division 1 sports program & visited their residential community. To end the day students enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Binghamton University in their Appalachian Dining Hall overlooking various mountains which surround the university.

We also caught up with some APR alums who currently attend Bing.

On Feb. 4th, 2025 the boy varsity basketball team went up against Washington Irving High School and demolished it with a score of 84 to 44
The MVP of the night was Pharell who carried the physical prize home after earning 1000 points in his high school basketball career.

On January 15th 2025 the Boys Varsity wrestling Team took down the Kipp NYC College prep school with a score of 64-17

January 08th, 2025 The boys' swimming team took the gold back to the den with a score of 29 to 18

On Dec. 19, 2024, the Boys Varsity team came home with another win, With an overwhelming score of 104 to 34.
