Todays town hall meeting was bittersweet for our departing seniors. Go ahead and check out what you missed.

Today the freshmen got to experience their first town hall meeting. Why don't you go go ahead and see what you missed?

Congratulations to Mr. Markland Walker and the students in the APRCHS/CCNY Teacher Pipeline Project (TPP) for completing their Summer Internship!

Students in the TPP engaged in a six-week internship program at PS/MS 161 Pedro Albizu Campos.

The student interns worked in Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms along with their cooperating teachers in the Summer Bridge Program.

Our student interns also had the opportunity to read The Other Wes Moore and to visit several of the city’s cultural institutions, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a division of the New York Public Library system. This internship capped off a year long teaching elective. In this class, students analyzed the effects of race and class on education in the U.S. and Harlem, specifically.

Our seniors took a trip to Six Flags, and I think it's safe to say they had a great time. What do you think?

One last celebration before Graduation. The Student Government worked together for our seniors, and it is safe to say they had fun.

On Friday the APR went head to head with...APR? Yes, seniors vs. staff! The Seniors took the loss just like those diplomas with a score of 53 to 51

Big Rawrs all around for the Girl's Spring Volleyball Team for coming in second for the Charter School Athletic League.

Softball girls are not giving out any breaks this season. They went head to head with Samuel Gompers High School and scored big with 9 to 3

Now it's our turn to cheer them on. The cheer Cougars have rebranded for a moment, and now the stunt team. They brought in their first win of the year with a score of 18 to 5
