Varsity Football Defeats Kennedy HS 32 -22
Congratulations to the APRCHS Varsity Football Team for an AMAZING game on Friday 09/09/22.
Randolph beat JFK 32-22 for the first time in the school's history. It was an exciting, eventful game in which both teams played their hearts out.
Senior Quarterback Nathaniel Nurse accounted for 3 of Randolph's 5 touchdowns (2 rushing, and 1 passing).
Senior Wide Receiver and Safety Siba Aboudoulaye had 136 all-purpose yards as he was the fastest and most electric player on the field. He added an interception on defense.
Senior Running Back and Outside Linebacker, newcomer Zahill Campbell made his Randolph debut by carrying the ball 18 times for 116 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns (1 rushing, and 1 receiving). On defense he also had 6 tackles, 3 for loss, a sack, and interception return for a touchdown.
Junior Yomar Perez-Peralta played an amazing all-around game and Senior Lineman Patrick Tackie, Yaniel Vargas, Angel Espino, Dariel Fernandez, and Junior Richard Stratton were as solid as ever on both sides of the ball.
It was certainly a night to remember; and one the student athletes will never forget.
Thank you to Coach Perlowitz, Coach Scriba, Coach Frawley, and Coach Reynolds for being there for our athletes on and off the field.
Thank you to all of the APRCHS Faculty and Alumni who came out to support the team. We were loud and proud and I am sure it kept our athletes spirits high during the game.
Thanks also go out to Ms. Amber Fletcher and members of the Cheerleading Team who made an unofficial appearance in advance of their season debut on 09/24/22 for our Home Opener (@Truman HS) vs. Petrides High School.
Thanks also go out to the Kennedy High School community who welcomed us for this incredible pre-season game, and made this experience possible for our athletes and fans.
