The AP Randolph Varsity Football team beat Eagle Academy III 33-6 on Sunday (11/27/22) securing their ticket to the Final Four of the City Playoffs. On a rainy, overcast afternoon, the Cougars dominated on both sides of the ball.
Seniors Nathaniel Nurse, Siba Aboudoulaye, and Zahill Campbell led the Cougar offense.
Seniors Terelle Delva, Patrick Tackie, and Yaniel Vargas helped hold Eagle Academy in check on defense.
Junior's Lenz Pierrot and Yomar Perez-Peralta both stepped up on both sides of the ball and helped the Cougars return to the semi-finals for the second year in a row.
The Cougars will HOST opponent Frank J. Macchiarola (FJM) at Truman High School on Sunday 12/04/22 at 12 noon in the semi-final game!
The winner will move on to the city championship!
We hope that all students, staff, and families who are free on Sunday can come out and support our Varsity Football team as they try to get back to the City Championship Game this year!!
Go Cougars!!!
