Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Ruth Lacera and the members of the Professional Learning Committee
on the GRAND OPENING of the UFT Teacher Center on Friday 02/09/2024!
The UFT Teacher Center is a collaboration between A. Philip Randolph Campus High School and the United Federation of Teachers (UFT).
The purpose of the UFT Teacher Center is to provide a place where Faculty can share best practices and resources with one another.
The UFT Teacher Center is also the home base of the Professional Learning Committee.
The Professional Learning Committee meets with Mrs. Lacera, and the Principal, to consult on the Professional Development Meetings throughout the year.
The UFT Teacher Center presents at least one teacher led professional development meeting a month based on the committee’s recommendations and work.
The UFT Teacher Center is also open as a resource to the Faculty during periods 5, 7, 8, and after school.
The Teacher Center has teacher workstations, printers, and copy machines provided by the UFT.
Thank you to the UFT for making this partnership possible for our Faculty.
Thank you to Mrs. Lacera for all of the hard work that she has put in to make this partnership successful, and for supporting her colleagues.
Thank you to the Professional Learning Committee for all of your support. The Professional Learning Committee members are:
