Congratulations to the newly inducted members of the A. Philip Randolph Campus High School Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS)!
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States.
Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character.
NHS indicates the continuing emphasis on excellence that we represent for our school and community.
Throughout the year, members of our chapter serve as role models for other students.
In addition to the strong academic records which established the eligibility for membership, our chapter members are leaders in many student organizations and serve their school and community through many activities.
The APRCHS Community was proud to induct 27 new members bringing our total membership to 86.
We are proud of this record of accomplishment and welcome these new members who bring new energy in support of our continuing work as NHS members.
APRCHS is proud to continue to have so many scholars qualifying for this nationally recognized distinction.
Thank you to Ms. Amber Fletcher, for her continued leadership as Faculty Advisor for the National Honor Society (NHS).
Thank you to the NHS board members Bob Kue, Kristi Vuksevic, Kevin Frazelis and Wendell Lissimore for dedicating their time to read applications.
Thank you to the student members of the National Honor Society and the Executive Council: Nniaga Antoine, President, Destiny Campbell, Vice President, Olatunde Jegede, Treasurer, and Hope Charles, Secretary.
NHS is a youth led organization and these events would not be possible without their hard work and dedication.
Thank you to Mr. Gavin Sukhai and his team for all of their assistance. The event would not be possible without their planning and hard work.
