APRCHS Annual Winter Heritage Festival 2023
APRCHS held its Annual Winter Heritage Festival on Thursday December 14th, 2023.
The Winter Heritage Festival is an annual celebration of the many cultures that make up the APRCHS Community.
This year APRCHS was blessed to be able to bring the entire school community together for a performance during the school day.
There was a separate production in the evening for parents, families, alumni, and other guests.
The Winter Heritage Festival began with students greeting the Audience in the language of their forefathers.
There was then a presentation of the Senator Chuck Allen III Scholarship Fund, and a presentation of the flags of the countries that represent our school’s diverse cultures.
Student artists then perform a series of dances themed around our diverse cultural heritage.
This year the Winter Heritage Festival presented dances from the following groups:
West African
Desi
Latin American
West Indian
Sistas Only Step Team
United Brothers
Urban
Modern
K-Pop
