Project Rousseau Goes To Canada!
Several A. Philip Randolph Campus High School (APRCHS) students got the opportunity to travel to Canada with Project Rousseau.
While in Canada they visited McGill University (one of Canada’s Top Private Institutions), listen to college lectures, stay in a McGill residence, and explore the city of Montréal!
Project Rousseau (www.projectrousseau.org ) is a not for profit community based organization headquartered at Columbia University.
Their mission is to empower youth in communities with the greatest need to reach their full potential and pursue higher education.
At APRCHS they approach this goal by offering:
- Free SAT preparation classes
- Free afterschool tutoring
- Free college trips
- A social network of successful students and alumni dedicated to making the dream of college a reality for students, regardless of their financial situation.
APRCHS has been a proud partner of Project Rousseau for the last several years and hosts after school meetings on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Please see our College Counselor, Ms. Ana Cruz ([email protected] ), for more details or if you are interested in signing up.
