1.1 Introduction
INTRODUCTION
This handbook tries to accomplish several objectives including:
- Clarifying and codifying school policies
- Providing teachers with copies and summaries of relevant DOE policies
- Providing new teachers with orientation materials
- Providing all teachers with a reference document
- Eliminating the wasteful duplication of the same memos year after year
This book has been arranged so additions can be easily inserted into the appropriate chapters.
To preserve resources, this handbook will be posted on the Faculty section of the school website. Updates will be released electronically and identified in an administrative memorandum.
